Mrs. Anderson is a certified nursing assistant who comes to Sports Medicine Associates with strong clinical experience. Her primary role is cast application, splints and braces. Mrs. Anderson also provides support to the overall clinic functions.
Michele Clark
Medical Assistant
Ms. Clark has recently joined our practice as a registration specialist. She is one of the first you will see when you arrive for your appointment. She will gather all the pertinent registration information and in order for our Billing department to file your insurance and to schedule any special tests or surgeries that are necessary to treat your problem or need. She also assists the Assistant Administrator with special projects.
Sherry Daitch
Certified Medical Assistant
Ms. Daitch is a certified medical assistant whose primary role is providing support to the overall functions of the clinic and managing clinic flow. She assists in evaluating and maintaining inventory levels for patient examination rooms in the clinic and performs supportive patient care activities.
Jennifer Powell
Certified Medical Assistant
Jennifer is a certified medical assistant who is multi-skilled and performs a wide variety of functions at Sports Medicine Associates. Her responsibilities include overseeing specialty clinics, scheduling special tests such as injections, MRIs, bone scans, CT scans and EMG along with obtaining precertification for these special tests. Jennifer also addresses patient calls related to prescription and medical questions.
Joy Storey
Patient Care Assistant
Mrs. Storey has worked in health care for more than 19 years and has been with SMA for three years. She has previously worked in the nursing home setting, epilepsy unit and now orthopaedics. Her responsibilities as a patient care assistant at SMA includes ensuring clinic flow is managed efficiently so that the operations of the clinic run smoothly, she evaluates and maintains the inventory levels for patient examination rooms in the clinic and performs supportive patient care activities under physician supervision.
Stephanie Kinzel
Radiology Technologist
Mrs. Kinzel is responsible for administering patient x-rays, facilitating the management of the x-ray process in order not to slow the clinic flow and managing the inventory levels of the necessary radiological supplies. Ms. Kinzel has over 14 years experience which consists of general x-ray, special procedures such as cardiac catheterization laboratories and angiograms. She has worked both in the hospital and physician office setting.
Leslie Stavely
Radiology Technician
Mrs. Stavely is also responsible for administering patient x-rays, facilitating the management of the x-ray process and managing the inventory levels of the necessary radiological supplies. She has over 15 years experience in the health care industry and has performed duties involving taking x-rays in both the hospital and physician office setting, she has performed front office duties involving registration and receptionist responsibilities, filed insurance claims and handled many billing functions. Her experience also includes managing clinic flow, preparing injections to ordering supplies.
