Speed Training


Speed is the amount of time it takes to travel over a certain distance. While speed is important to many sports, the ability to combine strength, agility and endurance with speed will make you a better athlete.

The Speed Training Program is exclusive to each individual participant. The program will focus on developing an individual’s speed specific to their chosen sport or activity.

Developing speed requires an integration of many training techniques. To first begin building speed you need a sturdy foundation. Learning the proper mechanics of running, sprinting and resistive sprinting drills and developing each participant’s basic fitness level through weight training and agility drills will help to build this foundation.

The final phase of the program will be to design a specific speed and agility program for the participant’s individual sport.

The Speed Training Program can be conducted as an individual session or in groups of no more than four participants per program session.
